Stäbchenförmige, zugespitzte Skulptur der Exine. Länger als 1 μm.
Punktförmige Exineskulpturen mit kleinen , punktartigen Skulpturelementen (<1 μm) oder andersförmige, kleine Skulpturen, die im LM noch knapp erkennbar sind. Meist oft eine raue Oberfläche. Siehe auch gemmat.
Ölige, klebrige Tropfen aus Lipoiden und Carotinoiden. "Klebt" die Pollenkörner an den Bestäuber und dient auch als Schutz gegen das Austrocknen. Pollenkitt wird nur von den Angiospermen gebildet, kann jedoch auch fehlen. Wird in den Plastiden der Antherenwand gebildet.
