Im Innern des PK viele und grosse Amyloplasten. Die mit Kaliumjodidlösung gefärbten Amylopasten sind etwa 5.0 (2.6-7.2) μm gross. Die mit Acetocarmin gefärbten PK zeigen eine netzartige Struktur im Zytoplasma und man kann Kernmaterial erkennen (oft 3 Kerne).
